Judy’s program theme centered on our extended families ---people that may not be actual blood relatives but ones we considered family just the same.  We learned about special family friends, grandparents, aunts, special woman, people we have met along life’s way that have enhanced our lives!
Our socials once again took us to interesting places and fabulous times together. Judy kicked off our year with a trip to one of our favorite places, Old Town Spring, where we lunched, shopped and sang the day away! Kerry treated us to a Chocolate Extravaganza where we were treated to all things chocolate…from martinis to fish tacos. October found us at Kathy & Bret’s annual Margarita Party and in November we shopped at the 9th Annual Winter Holiday’s Arts Market and lunched at Beaver’s.  Vickie and Patti hosted our favorite get together, A Mexican Christmas and gift exchange.

January found us in Montgomery, TX honoring our Sweetheart, Judy Hood, at The Hodge Podge Lodge hosted by Lela. In February, Gisele took us to an amazing inner city farm right in downtown Houston where we learned about inner city farming and walked away with beautiful veggies! Connie C. put together another fun filled weekend in the lovely town of Wimberley.  Dining, visiting wineries and shopping… nothing better than that especially with our fellow sisters. April found us back at Bolivar Peninsula at Connie N. lovely beach house. Even bad weather, rain and power outages couldn’t ruin the fun…. Crawfish, cocktails at Fishbone’s and dancing to a live band! Just a few of the festivities.  May closed out another year as we once again attended the Polish Festival and enjoyed Polish beer and cuisine!

Founder’s Day was an extra special event this year as our very own, Kerry Bost, HCC President Elect hosted a beautiful day surrounded by her fellow sisters and her two beautiful daughters.
