The HCC theme for this year was In Touch With Tomorrow. Donna and the Executive Board asked the sisters to delve deep into their psyches and internet research to talk about the future and how to handle aging and living life to the fullest.

The thirteen sisters banded together and provided support as two sisters, Donna and Vickie, lost their homes in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. It hit on Beginning Day in August so that favorite event was postponed until February when Donna treated the group to fabulous Mexican food in the neighborhood and then a tour of her new home and the first ever karaoke singalong with our new machine. I vaguely remember some dancing as well.
